Donation Purpose

We have reached our goal and paid for the Anderson sling minus the leg supports which are $750.00.

Now that we have used the sling on a down horse  we have found that it gets very dirty and we don't want to use it for getting horses out of ditches or holes. The wear and tear on it for this use will be sure to have a very short life span; what would suit us better is the large animal lift.  The lift can be installed by one or two people where the sling takes 3 to 5 depending on the horse.  Once the horse is up they can then be transferred into the Anderson Sling for better support.  The cost for the list is $1200.00.  Additionally we have run into the issue of once we have the horse in the Anderson sling how do we transport it to the vet  for life saving help.  We are going to purchase a horse trailer that we can convert and have the sling attached so the horse can travel to the vet in the trailer in the sling.  Approximate cost for the trailer is $16000.00.

With these program additions and your help we will then have a comprehensive system for horse rescue and support! We appreciate all donations to date and your generosity has enabled us to work on this important expansion.

Purchasing a modified stock trailer will enable us to transport animals to and from the vet with minimal stress on our animals.
