Mental Health

Dream Catcher provides Mental Health services in the form of Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP), which incorporates horses in a safe experiential environment that helps emotional growth and learning. EAP gives persons the ability to have therapy outside the walls of the therapist office. Horse Sanctuary

Dream Catcher facilitates the rescue and rehabilitation of abused and neglected horses with our Horse Sanctuary program. This program, known as the "End of the Trail" program, provides a much needed service in the Uncompaghre valley where many horses, after years of faithful service, deserve a place to be safe, fed and cared for more ... >



Dream Catchers offers foster and adoption services for horses that need to find new homes. We make every effort to find the right home for the right horse. To this end we have very strict adoption and foster policies and reserve the right to refuse these services to anyone that does not meet our requirements. The requirements include but are not limited to: nutritious amounts of food, fresh water, safe fencing, adequate shelter, veterinary care and kind treatment at all times. Upon adoption, the adopter agrees that the horse cannot be sold, traded, leased, given away, bred, or used for any commercial purpose other than for showing.  If the adoptor finds that they can no longer care for or want the adopted horse,  the horse must be returned to Dream Catcher Therapy Center.
